TaRL Delivery Model

The TaRL program focused on improving foundational reading skills in English and mathematics. It was implemented in both formal and informal learning settings:

  • Cohort 1: This group comprised 334  out-of-school children who participated in a 5-month TaRL program. The program was conducted in temporary learning spaces within the community, where students dedicated 2 hours per day to TaRL activities.
  • Cohort 2: Consisting of 320 students enrolled in formal schools, this cohort engaged in an intensive 2-month TaRL program. Students met for 4 hours each day to immerse themselves in TaRL activities
  • Cohort 3: Similar to Cohort 1, this group comprised 334 out-of-school children who participated in a 5-month TaRL program. The program was again implemented in temporary learning spaces within the community, with students dedicating 2 hours per day to TaRL activities.
